Hi everyone! First some quick info:
- I have a few furnished rooms becoming available. One is available immediately, and the others will become available latest on 1 SEPTEMBER 2020, for a fixed period of time
- Location: Lappis, the largest student campus area in Stockholm (address: Professorsslingan). Direct access to Stockholm University, KTH Tekniska Högskolan, SSE Stockholm School of Economics, and SBS Stockholm Business School
- 900 m to the nearest metro station (Universitetet, metro red line), from where it takes 9 min to the city center/T-Centralen
- Direct bus to Odenplan, where there is an access to the metro green line + commuter train/pendeltåg
- Large home (76 m2) with kitchen and bathroom renovated in 2018; lovely and clean living spaces
- Best things about the summer: we have our own balcony for sunbathing, a sandy beach 1 min walk away, lots of forest and nature around, and a grocery store where we can buy ice cream!
- The apartment has a washing machine, a dishwasher, guitar, ukulele, shared bicycle, rice cooker, lots of houseplants, and a walk-in closet… so this is a bit of a deluxe student home :D
- Rent for a room is 5500 kr / month
Then, some more detail:
My current roommates are about to return home, which means that a few rooms in our lovely shared apartment will soon be available! Rooms can be rented from:
a) August, first come first served basis – 10 October 2020 (for 2 months)
b) 1 September – 10 October 2020 (for 1.5 months)
Room 4 is available immediately, and rooms 1, 2 and 3 will become available flexibly in the end of August / beginning of September. All the rooms will be rented with a fixed-term contract until 10 October 2020. This means a 1.5 - 2 month rental, as I will move out of the apartment myself after that. If you are just moving to Stockholm, these ~9 weeks will give you just the right amount of time to get used to the city and find a new home!
The rooms are fully furnished; they all have a bed, a desk, bookshelves, and plenty of space for clothes. Naturally, the doors of the rooms can be locked, and internet, electricity and water are included in the rent. The apartment itself is cozy and comfortable - you will basically find everything you need, and a little extra, too. There is plenty of common space: a large kitchen, living room, bathroom, entry hall, and balcony.
As a residential area, Lappis is really international and there is this relaxed campus culture here. A running trail starts right behind the house and runs through the forest. As previously mentioned, there is a beach, and from the balcony you can see a pond and Stora skuggans gård with animals and horse stables. In its own way, Lappis is a perfect urban-rural paradox: less than 15 min from the heart of Stockholm, but in the midst of nature. The grocery store is located 2 min away by foot and there is also a small sushi restaurant and a pizzeria-sports bar within walking distance. All of Stockholm University's cafes and restaurants are also close.
This home is best suited for a young person working somewhere along the red or green tunnelbana line, or studying in one of the following schools:

- SBS Stockholm Business School: direct bus (8 min)
- DOCH Dans och Cirkushögskolan: direct bus (10 min)
- SSE Stockholm School of Economics: direct bus (15 min)
- KTH Tekniska Högskolan: direct metro (1 stop)
- Kungliga Musikhögskolan: direct metro (2 stops)
- GIH Gymnastik- och idrottshögskolan: direct metro (2 stops)
- Karolinska: bus to Vasaparken + 20 min walk
I myself am a 28-year-old girl and a business school student, and I have really enjoyed living here!
